During that time, he has worked as a staff writer and/or editor for The
Lake Worth Herald, Your Health Magazine and The National Examiner.
For the past 16 years, Vaughan has worked as a full-time freelance
writer, publishing more than 1,500 nonfiction magazine and newspaper
articles and writing, co-writing, ghosting or contributing to 14 books
ranging from a comprehensive guide to World War II (The Everything
World War II Book (Adams Media) to a celebrity autobiography (Hollywood
Inside and Out: The Kenny Miller Story (BearManor Media). His most
recent books, Sixteen Minutes From Home: The Columbia Space Shuttle

Triangle Area Freelancers (TAF), a local networking
organization for beginning and established freelance writers.

writing, censorship and other topics close to his heart. In recent years,
Vaughan has been a featured speaker at the annual conference of the
American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), where he has lectured
on writing and promotional opportunities for nurse practitioners in private
practice.

Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife, Nanette, and their very spoiled cat,
Rhianna.
